there is a terrible smell to the inside of the machine if i keep the door closed. it's like a musty damp smell as if there's water somewhere in the machine. the repair man came out and could not detect it at the time . he did give me some hints and i'm hoping it works its way out. unfortunately i had no choice to buy this washer as samsung was one of only a few that offered compact machines that would fit in the small space i had in my new condo.very very dissatisfied!

second day of owning this washer and i already had to put a service request in… drum started to spin very loudly/shaking the machine after only two uses (one yesterday delievery day and one today). i'm hoping this will be the only service needed, but i'm nervous. i will update my review after the service.

bought this washer in 2019 and it's already broken after less than 2 years of very standard residential use. took two weeks for a technician to come out, and now another 3 weeks to repair at a cost of $615. the washer itself only costs $800. don't buy this machine.

we took over a condo 2 months ago with this samsung ww22k6800aw washer & dryer. although extremely noisy, we have had no issue and it seemed to be much better than other front loaders i have used particularly in terms of odor.
however, this evening we are unable to open the door after the cycle ended today. we ran the wash 2 more times and still cannot open it. although i know it cycled through as i watched it count down from one minute remaining, when i restarted the cycle it indicated there were 37 minutes on the dial. i have no idea why this happened or what to do but cannot open the door of this washer. once the cycle ended, there are no lights, codes, flashing signals. what to do? i cannot pull this stacked set from it's space to access the hoses.

I bought this washer and dryer combo because I moved into a small apt and need a set. Also I need something that is ventless. This combo is perfect for me with lots of new features. Steam wash, energy star, quiet operations. It's compact size but amazingly it can hold a good amount of clothes.

i bought the warranty extension for 3 years. then, it was damage. the samsung technician, said "samsung doesn´t work for home appliances. only for electronic device. don´t buy samsung again and if you do it, extend warranty for 5 years. you were lucky to have the same machine for 4 years. the price to fix is 590$"
i called to samsung and i did a report about this person. then i ask him for a solution because no body call me to extend the warranty and i could have a best price with samsung as a promo code to get a some solutions samsung said "i´m sorry we never know how long going to work our machine. we have only 1 year warranty and you could extend it"

I have had this compact washer for a little over a month and am very happy with it. There are not many choices for the small space and this one is a good value. The only thing I wish is that they offered it in stainless steel color so it would better match my other appliances, but it seems that all of the compact washer/dryer sets are in white only.

The area that I have for a washer and dryer is on the smaller size. I replaced my older machine by another company and this machine is so far superior. I love the different setting and ease of putting in detergents. I can highly recommend this washer.

I cannot recommend this washer enough - especially if you have space limitations. This is not for a large family, but for the 2 of us it is perfect. The settings are so easy and intuitive. And it really gets the clothes clean. The spin cycle eliminates a lot more moisture than my old machine. I just love it.

I absolutely love this washer. I have owned it for over a year and use it nearly every day. I like that it heats its own water for the perfect clean. The spin speed is adjustable from to spin to extra high. I use the sanitize cycle for my towels and the allergen cycle for my king sized sheets. Everything comes out clean and fresh. The machine even tells you when it needs to be cleaned and there is a cycle for that as well. My only wish would be for the the interior drum to be lighted and that would make the machine perfect.

I bought this on June 2020 and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. Both my washer and dryer may be compact but I can actually wash and dry more clothes than I expected. The features were great too as well the quality of the wash. The washer cleans really well. I had a problem with the dryer before (it takes a long time to dry) but the problem turned out to be the improper installation of the vent. After the installation was corrected by Best Buy, the drying time was considerably shortened. Really great products!

Washes clothes much better than my previous top loader with less water. I don't think the upgraded turbo model would be any different from my current needs judging by the price difference. The menu screen is not as illuminated but my laundry room is well lt.

the detergent tray was missing. after 45 minutes she determined that i needed to respond to email ticket and attach receipt. i was unable to do so because of technical issues. i bought directly from samsung.com not another retailer. i called them back the person i spoke to canceled that ticket and put the order in or so i thought. two weeks later still no detergent tray. i am not sure i could trust them to stand behind a major issue. yesterday another call. email. was to be sent still no email. this is not good customer service

(we purchased them in october 2019). overall, it does a good job of cleaning. what i don't like it that it seems to be getting noisier and i started double rinsing my loads because one rinse doesn't seem to get rid of enough fuzz/pet hair.

I bought my W/D eleven months ago. Overall, I really like both the washer and the dryer. I actually use some of the variety of settings--my previous 20 year old Gibson (loved it) didn't have any, beyond the basics.
The panel has an unlit icon that is supposed to illuminate after 50 washes, to alert the user it is time to use the cleaning function. It will remain illuminated for several washes. After ~150 washes, mine has yet to illuminate--no big deal. Have yet to use the cleaning function; no odors etc. (I DO leave the door ajar, after use).
My only complaint is that I have to wash AND dry a fitted sheet separately; otherwise, the sheet will envelop all other items making a big ball of clothes. This was not an issue with my slightly larger Gibson, but given the size of this unit, it is not surprising that this occurs.
I bought this unit over the Blomberg, mostly because it has a bit more capacity.

This washer is really a slam dunk. We have a brand new home, contemporary and the look of this machine just is great, so sleek. Cleans better than my old Bosch also. Bought one for my sister also - she lives in a more traditional house and it looks just as great. I like the steam cleaning feature and I can use this Super Speed option to clean really fast, though it uses a drop more energy it seems.

I bought this from Penny's and was not told to order the separate stacking kit. They then sent me the SKK-7A stacking kit but it doesn't fit the washer /dryer. Went back to Penny's they called Samsung and were told they would send out the proper one. Guess what they sent the same one. I give up. I think I have to just send back the washer and dryer and find one that will stack.

My 24" Samsung stackable W/D, installed mid June 2018, replaced a 27" Gibson that I loved. So far so good with its replacement.
Pros:
Relatively quiet; my unit is on a concrete floor.
Lots of wash cycles; I must now pay more attention than simply turning the machine on lol.
Spin cycle is EXCELLENT; clothes come out of the washer with much less absorbed water than my previous washer.
Cons:
The "cute" audio jingle is too long and annoying; I immediately muted this "feature"
Presumably it is more effective to fill the machine with water not all at once, but via fill/stop, fill/stop, fill/stop, fill, stop... It's a tad annoying hearing the washer start to fill, stop for a moment, start to fill, stop for a moment. I probably shouldn't be, but I'm concerned the on/off water fill (multiple times) puts excessive pressure on the (steel) hoses.
Overall, I'm very satisfied with the washer.
Dryer:
Pros:
It's a dryer and gets my clothes dry.
Only con, given its small size, when drying a fitted queen sheet, all the other items get wrapped into the fitted sheet. This occurred once in a while with my 27" dryer, but much less frequently. I check halfway through the cycle.
Overall, I'm very satisfied with the washer.

Purchased unit 2 years + 2 months ago (2016), within the first year the unit was leaking due to rubbing of the Y shaped drain hose against itself. This hose is attached to the drain pump. Samsung tech came out noted the issue and never called back with parts & install availability. I wrapped it with silicone Rescue Tape. Fast forward a bit of time, and I started to notice some gray power on the floor and near the drain pump pin trap. I did not know it at the time, but the counterweight was failing. Just the other day, the counterweight plastic housing surrounding what looks like concrete fill ripped in half and tore through the main door seal. I could go on with more detail, but you get the idea. Terrible quality given that is is just over 2 years old.

I really want to like this washer. But on first use, leaking from bottom of unit. Checked hoses, leaking from from bottom of unit. Had to use emergency drain to keep from flooding room. Service coming out sometime, but this isn't something anyone should ever have to worry about with a brand new washer.
